Emergence

Emergence is a script that was commissioned by story creators and Howard University students, Noni Garrett, Eden Radcliff, and Anaya Washington. The essence of this story is Black Girl Magic, along with the tenderness of female friendship that often isn’t showcased in animated media or media as a whole. 
We originally formed a team around this production for submission to the Disney Storytellers’ Scholars Program, and although our project wasn’t accepted for the program, the wonder that this story exhibits and the charm of our darling trio (Sade, Thando, and Azami) remains everpresent.

Logline

When their best friend Sade goes missing college freshmen, Azami and Thando, set off to find her, only to discover that their friend is trapped in an alternate dimension.

All presented works have been submitted to the US Copyright Office and WGA for copyright and are protected under United States Copyright law.
